5ghz network no longer appearing as an option to connect to
5ghz Wi-Fi network no longer appearing in my networks
I have a netgear nighthawk R6700v3 and my 5g network just disappeared one day and I have no idea how to get it back. I’ve tried calling the netgear support but they only advised me to factory reset and when that didn’t work they tried to get me to buy some plan for more help. I’m able to get into the router user interface and can see that the network is enabled. Im not sure what else I can try to get this network back appearing so that I can connect to it on my devices. I’m not in a position to buy a new router right now, so if that’s the only answer you able to offer to this solution please don’t comment.

Can you see the 2.4 GHz network as an option to connect?
What do the LED's on the front of your router indicate? Is the 2.4 GHz illuminated? Is the 5 GHz illuminated? Is the Wi-Fi on/off illuminated? If the Wi-Fi on/off is not illuminated, it is a combination indicator/switch. Press and hold for several seconds then release. Your Wi-Fi radios should come back on.
See the attached description of the LED indicators. It starts from the left and goes to the right.

Is smart connect enabled?
That combines the 2.4ghz/5ghz signals into one ssid.
