5ghz network no longer appearing as an option to connect to

do you have smart connect enabled?
That combines the 2.4ghz and 5ghz into what most systems see as a single ssid. so it doesn't show up as separate.

Unless it was added with new firmware, the R6700v3 "smart" router, does not support "smart connect". I checked the manual.
My bad. I though the v3 had it.
