8000P Show on Wifi list but has no Internet Connection
I just installed the 8000P. I followed the steps on the app. I connected it to the back of my modem. The Router is showing on the wifi list but has no internet connection. 2 questions, 1. how do i...
1. yes it needs to connect by wire to the modem
2. that question alone makes me suspect your current modem isn't just a modem. What actual modem do you have?
I have a cable (TWC/Spectrum) modem. It is a Technicolor TC8717T.
That modem is a modem/router combo device.
it puts you in a double nat.

options? (only use 1)
1. put the ISP device in passthrough/modem only mode
2. put the netgears IP address in the ISP routers DMZ
3. put the netgear into access point mode.
