A password for Netgear
My BIGGEST PROBLEM with Netgear is how to create a new password.
Here is what I mean.
I follow all the recommendations from Netgear on how to create my password but NOTHING(!) works.
I have tried VARIOUS APPS to create a 17 plus digit passwords (that would take BILLIONS OF YEARS FOR the computer to crack), but NETGEAR does not accept it.
NOTHING IS GOOD for Netgear as a password.
What's more.
Even with the most complex (it would take 3895 billion years to crack your password) password, NETGEAR does not allow me to sign in.
What is my solution.
I take that simple Netgear Temp verification code as my new Password.
What the HECK, NETGEAR?

Do you get any error messages when trying to setup your password. My password is 13 characters and I have no issues with that. Provide more information about your issue and configuration may help to determine the problem.
- ANewUserAspirantMy problem with the Netgear.com password is that I can’t pass the new password window.
It shows that my new password is too weak.
Nothing works.
Only when I copy and paste the Netgear temp verification code, I can save my new password and login into my Netgear account.> AClient

Are you two users with two user names, or one user with two user
names, or what? At least one of us is confused.> I am writing about the login password for Netgear.com
I can visit "Netgear.com" without supplying a password.

descriptions is no problem?> Nothing works.

"a new password" for _WHAT_?
> I follow all the recommendations from Netgear on how to create my

reading? Thanks for the helpful links?Have you considered the advantages of revealing to the non-psychics
in your audience some clues as to what you're doing?
None of this is a useful problem description. It does not say what
you did. It does not say what happened when you did it. As usual,
showing actual actions (commands) with their actual results (error
messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague
descriptions or interpretations.
A clear description of what _does_ happen would be more useful
than a vague description of what does _not_ happen."NETGEAR" is a corporation which sells devices. With which are you
dealing? If it's a device, like, say, a router, then you might look for
"Model" on its product label, and explore this radical concept which
helps some people:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RTFM
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the User Manual (at least). Read. Look for
"Types of Logins". Further reading might not hurt, either. If it's the corporation, then presumably you're looking at some web
page of other. Which?- ANewUserAspirantI am writing about the login password for Netgear.com
Nothing else.
This is a Netgear discussion forum; therefore, I have posted my unhappiness with the Netgear (only!) password requirements.
I don’t want to contact the Netgear customer service and waste about one hour of my time arguing about What.
