Yup, sure have. In the laptop.
Does the same thing.
The video linked in a previous reply I gave is what I am currently trying and, knock on wood, it seems to be quite stable.
No help from netgear though :D

Netgear's attention to detail on USB adapters is poor. So much so that I wonder if it is withdrawing from that market.
It must be getting on for a year since people first asked for updates to get expensive adapters to work in an Apple OS update. Still no sign of action.
As you say, disappointing.
