AC-1750 router issue
I recently had to change to a new Motorola MB8611 cable modem and I am unable to get the AC1750 to work. Is the AC-1750 compatible? Is there an issue I am not thinking of? Stuart

Model is R6700v3
I did unplug and power down a couple of different times with a different network cable each time to the same result.
My devices can 'see' the network, but can't connect.

Devices cannot connect to the wifi, correct.
Wired will not connect either - says unidentified network, no internet.

Tell us more. Connect from what? A Windows PC? Something else?
What does "will not connect" mean? What are you doing when this happens? What messages do you see?
You need to rule out the possibility that this failure to connect has nothing to do with the router. It may be down to the things that are trying to connect.
