ac1200 Cable Model Router Default password
Please help me change the default password. It is not secure; Netgear refused to help me as my device is over 1 year old. I have the admin password but cannot be prompted to change the DEFAUL...

Here's a radical concept which works for some people:

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your (actual) model number,
and look for Documentation. Get the User Manual (at least). Read.
Look for "Types of Logins" and "Specify Basic WiFi Settings". Further
reading might not hurt, either.
