AC1200 EX6120 set up help plese

Hi there. I have a Netgear AC1200 EX6120 Dual band WiFi Ramge Extender. I have the manual but I can not set it up using the WPS button on my modem. I also can not log in through mywifiext.com. The extender was working perfectly but I have had to change the password on my modem and now I can not get the extender to work. I have reset factory settings but still have no joy. Amy help would be greatly appreciated.

    You are trying to create a wifi link between the modem and the EX6120? Or is the EX6120 wired to the modem?

     

    What is this modem? (I assume that it is also a router.)

    What password? Wifi?

     

    What are you doing and where does it go wrong? Any prompts and error messages?

     

    I fear that "cannot get the extender to work" is not much diagnostic help?
