AC1600 Internet connection slow

As soon as I connect the router the connection speed drops to 0.1 mbps. I tried different router and it seems to be working fine. Also I did the speed test on the line without the router and I got around 230 mbps.

    I did factory reset couple of times and also firmware is updated. I replaced the router and it’s giving perfect speed. I would appreciate if you can suggest anything I can try

      I am using: R6260|AC1600 Smart WiFi Router.

        that'd be the router. what modem/gateway are you using?
