AC1600/R6260 question concerning 1Gbps internet speed
Hello Netgear Community! I am having a bit of an issue with my router. When I do a speedtest I am only getting 40'ish Mgps. My current internet speed is up to 1000Mbps (or 1Gbps). Is there something special I need to do in order to maximize my internet speed? My modem is Cisco Cable Modem DPC3008. Thank you for the help and information!

Nevermind I figured it out. My modem is not capable of handling 1000Mbps. It's only capable of handling up to 268 Mbps.
What do you get when connected to the modem with a PC?
Bty the way that modem is a DOCSSIS 3.0 which means you will never see gig with it. Need DOCSIS 3.1
