AC1750 Firmware Update Issue

I just got the R6300v2 AC1750 router and I set it up using the nighthawk app. Everything was going well until it prompted to update firmware. It's been attempting to update for the past 10 minutes. The first time I tried it said there was an error or something so I tried again.

I'm still waiting.


Is there anything else I can do?

    Is the router still working? 

    If so, I'd highly recommend against using the app to update firmware. Hardwire with a pc/laptop into the router to do the update. 

    Usually if we see corrupt firmware issues, its due to updates via the app or wireless.
