What modem/gateway is the router connected to?
What channel fro 5ghz are you using?
When it happens, is it only to the one device? or do all devices drop on 5ghz?
When it happens, is the 5ghz still broadcasting and devices won't connect? Is it saying, connected, no internet? Whats actually happening?

I'm using a Spectrum Hitron Docsis EN2251-Res Cable Modem right now.
The 5G network is using channel 153.
When the 5G drops, all devices lose connection such as phones, smart tv's, desktops, and laptops, and when it drops, the entire 5G network disappears from the list of available networks and I have to wait to the next day for it to come back, or I just restart the router.- plemansMay 08, 2023Guru - Experienced User
have you tried changing the wifi channel?
Is the router properly ventilated?
Have you tried a factory reset?

I did try changing the wifi channel, because the 5G was on channel 149 before switching it to 153, but I still had the same problems.
The router is sitting on a little side table in the corner of our guest room, so I think its ventilated well.The only thing I haven't tried is a factory reset. Hoping this works! crossing my fingers đ€
