AC1750 Smart Wi-Fi Router MN R6400v2 Account Information Problems & 6400 Possible Hack

I had sent in a request for help RE an email I received from Kim Komando.com advising that the NETGEAR 6400 recently had been identified with the possibility of a hack or whatever you call it where someone could get into it and then have access to home network stuff via WiFi such as my TOSHIBA Laptop. Are you aware of this? Kim Komando has been around for a long time and I trust her and her organation.
We do like the NETGEAR Router.
