AC1750 Smart WiFi Router (R6700v3) needs frequent power cycle/reset

I have an AC1750 Smart WiFi Router (R6700v3) that I requently power cycle (disconnect power, press reset button, wait) to restore internet performance. It is very frustrating to the frequency to which I have to do this (sometimes multiple times per day).  I did not have this issue with a much older wifi router.  The firmware is up to date.

    A few questions to help others understand your issue.

     

    What is the name brand and model number of the modem/ONT that is connected upstream of your R6700v3?

     

    What is the actual version number of the firmware installed.  "Up to date" does not provide sufficient information to allow confirmation.

     

    Do you have traffic meter enabled?

     

    Do you have IPv6 enabled? 

     

    Do you have any devices connected to the USB ports on the router?
