    Yes, you can hold the reset button on the back of the router for 10 seconds but this will reset everything on the router and you will need to set it up again, The default login will be admin/password after you do this.

Hello DarrenM ,

 

When will the known broken Password Recovery be fixed systematically, so

 

  • The user is informed if the Password Recovery is not configured yet, and
  • the browser incompatibilities (the button is often not enabled so it can't be pressed) on some browsers?

It can't be that this problem exists for years, the design is sub-par, and still carried forward to all new Netgear routers.
