AC2600 internet connection stops mysteriously
My router started acting weird 2 weeks ago. I thought it was my internet provider that's broken, but turns out the modem has full internet when I connect directly to it, but only my router lost data ...

What is your (unspecified) "the modem"? Why not reset the router?

At the LEDs on the router? At the router User Manual?
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the User Manual (at least). Read. Look for the
LED descriptions and "Troubleshoot".

And new firmware never introduces new problems?
V1.2.0.76_1.0.1 is old enough that it shouldn't be causing any
problems since "2 weeks ago".
- nitethawkJul 03, 2021AspirantI will take a look at the lights the next time when the router disconnect again.
I did reset the modem - hitron CDA3-20, but also rebooted the router. The only thing I haven’t done is factor reset my router (which will be a pain to reconfigure everything, but if I have to.. lol)
Question: I remember reading somewhere that if the router got too much traffic, it might get hung up. Wondering if anyone knows how to trace that? The log function under the advance menu doesn’t seem to be that helpful.- nitethawkJul 05, 2021Aspirant
Well it just went down again. I checked the lights, and it only showed red for the internet connectivity. Everything else looks good, including the modem.
The only thing I did to "fix" the situation is unplug the cable from the Ethernet port, and plug it back in. 2 seconds later everything flows again.
Any suggestions?? antinode
