AC2600 Loosing 2.4GHz Band Frequently - Latest Firmware

Hello

I am at the verge of throwing this piece of crap in dustbin. For almost 2yrs now I am struggling with this expensive piece of hardware and regret my discision to buy it at first place. It keeps dropping the 2.4GHz band restart by pushing the button at the back sometimes help - sometimes doesn't. I have done Reset many times using the pin hole several times. It works for few days and then again it will be back to square one. I have read through the forum post about the discussion happend on the same topic - but different people suggested different resolution. Nothing worked for me. The firmware version is - V1.0.2.78

Do we have a permanent fix or I have to throw it away and get something else
