AC2600 R7800 settings for FortiClient SSLVPN passthrough?

I connect to my employer using FortiClient SSLVPN (5.6.6.1167) from a Win10 laptop.  My old Linksys/Cisco E2000 with DD-WRT F/W handled this fine with no open ports needed.  I just installed a new R7800 (F/W V1.0.2.62, GUI V1.0.0.352).  It's over 2 1/2 times faster on download (woo-hoo!!) but FortiClient VPN on the Win 10 laptop drops every 5-10 minutes.  I know this can be a million other things, but for due diligence, what do I need to do to the Netgear to make it FortiClient SSLVPN friendly?

Just to confirm I don't want the Netgear to act as either a VPN server or client -- just a nice fat pipe.  Thanks in advance.

  • Ok, as it turn out, it's not the router.  FortiClient is caca.  Our IT guys are looking for another VPN client.  A job I do not envy.
