The router is connected to my Motorola Surfboard SB6121 cable modem.
After contacting Xfinity about my issue, they have helped mitigate the problem by extending my DHCP leases from 1 hour to 1 day. Thank you Xfinity!

Thanks for the boilerplate suggestions, but they do not address the issue here. There is nothing wrong with my modem. I am considering ditching my Netgear router and replacing it with a router from a more reliable company.

Agree. I have my doubts if replacing the router will make any improvement.
From a technology standpoint, your R7450 is getting long in the tooth. Please report back here and let us know if it does improve with a router replacement.
My ISP (Xfinity) is on a 24/7 schedule of DHCP leases expiring on 30-60-90 minute intervals and it is extremely annoying.
