AC2600 will not get past initial log-in screen
I am trying to add this router to a Starlink system. I place the Starlink modem in bypass mode to disable wifi. The netgear has been factory reset. When I go to routerlogin.net I can click on the ...

This will be like the 4th time I am typing the same thing. And why is this post the solution??? It hasn't been solved.
I am hardwired directly to the router from my pc. The only time I tried to use wifi is because Routerlogin.net says it's better to configure your new netgear router with an app on your phone. Turns out it isn't. All the app did was take me, to a browser window on my phone and the same thing that happens on my pc, that is hardwired directly to the router did.
There is a label on the bottom but it is useless. "admin" and "password" are of no help any longer. At some point the firmware on these has changed to no longer use a default password. You have to setup a password on the very first use and if you ever do a factory reset. That is the step I cannot get past. I get an error every time, on multiple browsers, and multiple devices.

I cannot even update the firmware, since you need to login to do that.
You should be able to do this manually.
How do I manually upgrade firmware to my NETGEAR router? | Answer | NETGEAR Support
You can do it by connecting the router to a PC. No Internet connection needed. Just downloaded the firmware in advance.

No I can't. I am unable to get past step 8. I get the same "undefinedundefined" error in multiple browsers on my pc and also on my phone. Believe me I tried. Multiple factory resets on the router. Delete caches in the browsers. Same result every single time. The firmware is sitting on my desktop. There is no default password for this router and it won't let me create one.

No label on the bottom?
Remember, the password for the graphical user interface is not the same as the wifi passphrase.
I get the same "undefinedundefined" error in multiple browsers on my pc and also on my phone. This suggests that you are using wifi to connect. (Phones don't do wired.)
Is that so?
Manual updates are best done with a wired connection.

What's that? What screen is it?
There are many ways of managing a router, with many different "steps".
We need details.

A factory reset restores the passwords to the defaults that are on the label.
The firmware does not change these.
If these do not work, then something else is going wrong.
You then get to the GUI. I'm afraid I am not familiar with what "steps" the various setup processes go through.
You should be able to wire into the router from a PC. (With nothing else connected to the PC.) Then you can update the firmware.
Again, if that does not work, something else is going wrong.

You may have been repeating yourself, but that is because it is hard to understand what is going on.
The quick start guide for the R7450 is hopeless. The manual has more useful detail.
