Ac3200 r8000 and link aggregation through firmware
So I was hoping my router supported link aggregation since my new modem does. I was wondering if I were to download the ac4000 firmware, if I'd be able to set it up. The physical connections and appearance are almost identical, but I don't want to destroy my router

the R8000 and the R8000P use different hardware. So don't try using different firmware. (shouldn't work either).
I wouldn't use link aggregation. Most modems and some router have issues with it.
Its been kind of a bust on consumer gear in terms of performance/stability.
