Hi Bitoy004,
There are two routers on the networks which affects the performance of the 2nd router. You can configure the R8000 as AP or set the frontier to modem only if there is an option.

The frontier is not a modem it is a router, but you can either use coax or cat6 cable to connect to the fiber box install in my garage. Since they used a coax I have no choice but to use that modem. Unless I run a cat6 cable from my garage to my attic, which I wont be doing since its summer in Scal at 100'F heat. Not sure how to fix this it is only the upload speed that is not going full speed. So for now I set it as AP mode for wireless and connect all the wired to the frontier router. My upload speed on wireless device is half speed running at 20 to 40mbps, but all my wired system connected directly to the frontier upload is 80-86mbps.

The router is set to AP mode because if I use that as main router I will get 6mb upload... Using it as AP will make it run 26Mb upload. Main problem is my broadband is 86/83 using the internal speed test of the netgear. And I also run a speed test while hooked up directly to the Frontier router which is 86/84 similar to the netgears internal speed test. Now why am I getting slow upload speed? I believe it is the netgears problem not the frontier, something in the netgear is blocking the upload speed. I've reset it to factory several times even upgraded flash from latest to going back to older firmware. Also reset everytime I update a firmware.
