Actual support
Has anyone ever actually gotten support from a person at Netgear? The whole "support" setup seems to be geared to avoid that.

I have a simple question. I follow the nighthawk prompts until it tells me to connect to my network, and then it won't accept my password, which I've repeatedly verified. Netgear supports answer to this is to connect a device to my wifi so I can troubleshoot. Anyone see an issue with that? Am I just dumb? (I'm willing to accept that possibility)

We have no idea what Netgear hardware you have, what problems you experience, what you are doing and where it goes wrong.
Likewise, we have no idea how you are trying to contact support and what happens.
From what they tell us here, plenty of people manage to get through to support. So it must be possible.
