Add a WiFi extender to R6900
The router was purchased in 2017. I now live in a mountain community and need a WiFi extender. The instructions direct me to search for Neatgear_Ext in the WiFi settings, but that extension is not ...
The extender I purchased is NetGear EX2800 AZNA. I followed the wsp instructions, but it did not work. I then tried to connect with the NetGear installation assistant, but that stalled when I was directed to connect with the extender in Settings. I do not have an extender in my Settings.
If you tried using WPS, then factory reset the EX2800 prior to using the installation assistant.
Push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while powered on. Then try connecting to it and using the installation assistant.
