How do you do that? Your website should not care about the router you use. Your router doesn't have much to do with any particular websites you visit.
So what are you doing and what happens?
Any error messages you can share?
..interfering with the functionality or performance of Netgear products.
What does that mean?
Have you talked to the people who support these "plugins and themes"? If they break your website, maybe you need to rewrite them.
As plemans says, it is hard to unravel what is going one here.
