Best Current Router
Hello. I’m moving into a 1 bedroom apartment. I’ve never had my own router, and the complex is recommending the NETGEAR NightHawk Smart WiFi Router (R6700)-AC1750. I’m not even sure what I need to loo...
One thing I would suggest though is future proof your setup by getting a router with some of the newer protocols such as 6E. May be a bit more expensive up front, but newer devices will be able to utilize to full effect and any future devices you buy will not be hindered by an outdated router.
Hey all. I appreciate your help. I did purchase a router. I hope it will work it is not a NETGEAR! It is TP-Link AX3000 WiFi 6 Router – 802.11ax Wireless Router, Gigabit, Dual Band Internet Router, VPN Router, OneMesh Compatible (Archer AX55)
Just FYI, that Mfr seems to be under scrutiny for nefarious things they seem to be doing.
