Bottleneck with JFS516 10/100
Hello, I just got this switch to my hands, and I have a problem. I have a 30 Mb/s connection, but when running through the switch it only runs at less than 2 Mb/s. I only have connected two cables -...

What, exactly, did you connect to what, exactly? What, exactly, are
you doing?

Is the speed higher if you connect them directly, instead of using
the (old, slow, but possibly adequate) network switch?
Have you tested/swapped the cables?

JFS516 or JFS516v2? Look for "Model" on the product label.
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your (actual) model number,
and look for Documentation. Get some. Read. What do the LED
indicators on the switch indicate?
