bought router from goodwill
picked this router up from goodwill but for somereason i cant register it or change the info or login because default password is not working and cant register also.
Start with a factory reset.
While powered on, push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds until the lights change.
then try installing.
There's a support site with access to manuals, firmware, install guides, etc.
Go to https://www.netgear.com/support/
Type in your model number and from there it'll take you to the above.
Its a great resource to start with.
yep you gotta do a hard reset to set it back to factory default. I usually do it for about 20-30 seconds by pressing that reset pinhole with a paper clip.
