Bridge x4s to Telstra nbn
Hi I would like to know if it is possible to either bridge to the Telstra router or have the VoIP go to my x4s nighthawk as the reason I bought this router was because it stated nbn ready but I can't...

Are you talking aboute voip phone . ADSL port can run a phone . I believe those are for internet connections.
yes certain modem have VOIP built in modem. As they are voip dedicated port.
No i am afraid netgear ever have produced such a router / modem yet.
As there is alternative of this model x7800 i believe that comes with Adsl / RJ11 port for dial up of adsl for internet only.
For Voip or phone you still have to use the old modem. Just used this router for Internet and disable any wifi in old modem/router.
You should be good to go.

What do you mean by NBN
Voip is wireless or wired. What is not working. Why do you need Bridging.
- KelszxrJul 23, 2017AspirantOk maybe I was a little vague
If I use my x4s nighthawk router Iam unable to use the phone.
If I use the Telstra router it has the docket for my phone line.
What I was wanting to know if it could be bridged from the night hawk so as to only use the phone
Or if there is a simple way around this issue.
Or is there a function in the nighthawk which allows me to plug my phone line into the back of it
Say the grey socket that is used for adsl- mondenathJul 24, 2017Prodigy
