Brother HP-1440 will not USB to R7000P

 I have followed all instructions. I cannot get my HP-1440 to connect to routers USB port. the USB light will not come on. The port works with other USB devices. And yes I have followed the manual. ...

Thanks I am using windows 11 pro. Also, unfortunately the drivers are imbedded in the printer. You are most likely right, I may have to replace it. Hate to, because the printer works great and ink lasts forever.

If it still works connected to a computer, then I'd just connect it to windows and let windows share it on the network

    As a alternative suggestion, one could try and find a USB to LAN Print server devices as well.
