Brother MFC-8600CDW Printer not connected
Just got this router after end of life of an Apple router. Unable to connect to this Brother printer or set up as a new printer on a Mac running OSX 10.11.6. Trying to add printer says it is unable to communicate with the printer. It shows up as an attached device on the Netgear but with no IP Address or Device name. Any pointers appreciated.
Think I got this from reading lots of posts. Had to reset the network settings in the printer. The connected devices showed a MAC address but not an IP address. Resetting did the trick.
