BT Vision channels compatibility with Nighthawk modem router D7000
Hi guys I've just ditched my BT hub 3 and bought the nighthawk D7000 Vdsl router. Everything set up fine but I can't get the BT you view channels to work. I've been told by netgear online chat ...
OK, since you have those BT channels working now does that mean that you have no remaining issues?
What firmware version are you using? Have you seen this;

There are a few IPTV related changes/fixes that might impact what you are doing if you are using an older firmware version.
This may help for the setup guidance, but I don’t know the BT relevant parameters;

Hi, thanks for the new firmware advice. I haven't done the firmware update, I got the BT vision channels working by doing a full reset on the Youview box. The channels are now coming through. The firmware version the netgear is using is 1.0.0.18. I did try to upload the 1.0.0.34 but it just says it's an img. file, although I have unzipped it and the file is a chk. file?
Are you saying that the router rejects the firmware upload?
Yes
Sorry, that’s my foolish mistake, the link I posted was for the D6400.
The latest firmware for the D7000 is here;
