C6300 router firmware download genie not working

Question

I have a C6300 modem/router that is running on firmware 3.0. When I run the download genie to download v3.1 from C6300 | Product | Support | NETGEAR, it doesn't work. I have tried using chrome and edge. i get the cursor to start spinning and then it doesn't work and the page changes to say "Hmm..can't reach this page... took too long to respond."

&nbsp;modem/router combo devices are only updated by the ISP. Its pushed out when they provision your device. Its an issue with the app telling people to update on these.&nbsp;&nbsp;https://kb.netgear.com/000036375/What-s-the-latest-firmware-version-of-my-NETGEAR-cable-modem-or-modem-router&nbsp;
