    Can you add another one? Yes.

    Should you? Depends. More info would be needed.

    If you're going to do it, make sure to set it up in a star configuration and not daisy chained.

    Star: extender<========router======>extender

    daisy: router------->extender-------->extender.

      How do I ensure I set it up in a star configuration?   What additional info would you need to determine if I should add another extender?  BTW my router is the RAX50.

        I would just make sure to have them seperated to each side of the router. For example, if the router is on the middle floor, have an extender in the 3rd floor and one on the first. Or have the extenders on opposite sides of the home with the router in the middle. thats your best chance to keep them seperated. Your only other option is to disable the mesh function and name the extenders seperate so you can choose which to connect to.

        that's the problem with not using a full mesh system that has a router controlling it.
