Can no longer connect to xfinity hotspot

Hello, I have been using the Ac1900 WiFi adapter A7000 to connect to Xfinity hotspots at the office I am currently working from. I am starting to get this message that says unable to connect on Xfinity secured and unsecured wifi networks. I had no problems before. I am using windows 10 on a surface book and everything is up to date.  I have tried turing firewall and virus det off but still no luck. Also, I can connect to the hotspot using my surface book without the adapter but the signal is not strong. When I was able to use the adpater I was able to get around50 to 60 Mbps which was heaven! Any ideas or help would be so much appreciated.
