Cannot Access a Specific Website via R7000

Nighthawk R7000

Firmware Version
V1.0.11.100_10.2.100

Cannot get to     https://reg.usps.com/entreg/LoginAction_input?app=Phoenix&appURL=https://informeddelivery.usps.com    via router.  I can turn off wifi and get to the site via my mobile phone provider.  I can also plug my laptop directly into my Netgear cable modem and get to the site.  I don't see any sites being blocked on my router or in my antivirus software.  Have restarted everything several times, flushed DNS.  Any suggestions shy of replacing the router?

  • No trouble reaching the web site via my R7800 with the Firefox V 83.0 browser on Windows 10.

You might try to flush the cache from whatever browser you are using.

You might try using a different browser.  I had the same success with Chrome, Edge, and Internet Explorer.

I had already cleared the cache on all four of my browsers to no avail.  I did a lot of research on this topic and tried a lot of things.  The last thing I tried was to change the Router MAC Address.  I logged into my router, went to the BASIC tab, selected Internet on the left, scrolled down to Router MAC Address and changed the setting from "Use Default Address" to "Use Computer MAC Address".  I then restarted my cable modem and now I can get to that site again.

One note...When I went back into my router settings to verify the change I made, "Use Compter MAC Address" was no longer selected, but "Use This MAC Address" was.  I'm not sure what difference that makes, but I can get to website I need, so I'm not going to worry about it.  Thanks for your suggestion.
