Cannot access admin portal for R9000 router

For some odd reason, I cannot access my routers admin functions through a browser.  I've tried:

- Clearing browser data

- Logging in via routerlogin.net (page does not load)

- Going straight ot the IP listed in the IOS app (page does not load)

- Even tried the defaul IP varities 192.168.0.1 etc

Again the IOS App seems to connect to it fine, but I cannot get to it via browser.  System has

- Most recent firmware

- Sunet mask 255.255.254.0

-  DNS 71.10.216.1/2

My set up:

- Spectrum modem -> X10 R9000 (manages ethernet traffic, Wifi not active) -> EERO (Wifi mesh)

This almost seems like an issue that will just vanish one day (like it appeard), but it has been a few days and is driving me nuts.

Thanks in advance

Default for the R9000 is 192.168.1.1. (192.168.0.1 is for modem/routers.)

We know the details of just one link in your network chain. At least two are anonymous, so it is hard to guess what might be happening.

    That modem is?

Disabling the wifi on the R9000 does not disable the router, so have you put this unnamed EERO (Wifi mesh) into AP mode?
