Cannot access my Netgear router via my AP
Hello, sorry if this is a basic question. I linked my Netgear to another router set up as AP (LAN-LAN port) but when I scan the IP range ( using nmap in Linux), there is no IP address for my Netgea...

It's not what the router assumed. In its normal router mode, I'd
expect it to use its default LAN IP address. Which might make little
sense in this situation. Hence the special as-WAP mode. If you choose
the default option ("Get dynamically from existing router"), then you
should get what you expected. As explained in the User Manual.Did I remember to suggest consulting the R7800 User Manual?

Is that accurate? Firmware version?
And how, exactly, did you specify the LAN IP address of the R7800?
Or were you expecting the R7800 to use DHCP to get its address from (the
DHCP server on) your (unspecified) main router?
That is what I assumed. Just trying to update the FW via this way
