Can't access Modem/Router via WiFi

Recently purchased Nighthawk AC1900 and am trying to set it up.   If I connect it via ethernet I can log into the modems login page but I can't via WiFi.   I can connect to both the 2.4Ghz & 5Ghz...

    Edit: And now after changing nothing at all I can access the login scree via WiFi....shrug.

Perhaps you just started the network in the correct order.

 

  • Turn off and unplug modem.
  • Turn off router and computers.
  • Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
  • Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it connect.
  • Turn on computers and rest of network.
