Time for another update - on my Win 10 laptop, I can still access the router, but NOT on my Win10 desktop. Both are on Windows 10 Build 10240. Why is this such an issue to keep working?

Hi sirsteve1968,
Do you have the same Antivirus on both PCs?
Is it Kaspersky? If yes, please try to uninstall it and access routers page. If successful then reinstall the Kaspersky.

Hi James,
Yes, I have both PCs running Kaspersky and updated regularly. I'm not sure removing/reinstalling is necessary since it works fine on the laptop. Would you still recommend it even though that's the case? I mean why is it such a hard task to have this work? IT stops on its own, then when it decides to play nice, it works again. I've never worked with flakier software. Thanks for your help.

Hi sirsteve1968,
Since it works on your laptop, try to remove it on the Desktop only. We have to check if this is something to do with the Kaspersky on your desktop since laptop works fine or if there are other programs that is causing the problem.

Hallo ,also es funktioniert leider wirklich nur so indem man Kaspersky deinstalliert und dann wieder neu installiert .Kaspersky Support arbeitet an dem Fehler .
