Can't access router locally or remotely
I am currently away from my Netgear R6700v3 router which I set up to be able to access remotely, but it is not working. I am guessing it has something to do with the fact that I have redirected port ...

From the rest of your message I assume that you are not using Anywhere (Remote) Access on a mobile device.
That's the easiest way in using "cloud access". But you have to set it up through MyNetgear on the router. Not easy if you aren't sitting by the device.
It is the bit in the manual Remotely Access Your Router Using the genie App. This is out of date in two ways, it is now the Nighthawk app and it was called Anywhere Access.
Sorry I can't deal with the immediate challenge, but this might prove useful in future.
