Can't factory reset R6700v3?

I'm following the instructions from here: https://kb.netgear.com/9665/How-do-I-perform-a-factory-reset-on-my-NETGEAR-router The lights blink, router turns off and restarts but keeps all the same...

You could also try doing it through the gui.

How do I log in to my NETGEAR wireless router? | Answer | NETGEAR Support

Select ADVANCED > Administration > Backup Settings.
Click the Erase button.

Get familiar with that page. It is also useful for saving your settings.
