Cant get firmware to update. Asks for applicable application associated?? Im learning disabled and appreciate help. THANKS My model wasnt on pull down list Nighthawk AX6 AX5200
what model do you have? AX5200 is a speed, not a model.
Where is it failing in the process?
Have you tried manually updating?
There's a support site with access to manuals, firmware, install guides, etc.
Go to https://www.netgear.com/support/
Type in your model number and from there it'll take you to the above.
Its a great resource to start with for downloading the firmware and manually updating.
Mine is RAX48
Only thing I’ve done is downloaded update firmware . When I try and open 2 files it says choose applicable application
I wouldn’t know about manually doing it. I’ve searched documents and don’t see what I need to do anywhere. THANKS

so you don't actually open the file.
In windows, right click on the zip file you downloaded and extract all.
From there you'll follow the manual firmware update process.
