Can't get my new MacBook Pro to find my wireless printer

When I hooked up the new router it automatically connected my wireless printer with my old macbook pro.  Now I have a new macbook pro that recognizes my printer but says that it is not connected.  How do I do that?

    Hi Joanie,

     

    You have to check if you need to install the driver of the printer on your computer. Contact printer manufacturer or Apple.
