I Can't Map Network Drives in Windows XP anymore
what device do you have?
In terms of mapping, you'd have to check on the xp forums. I can't remember the last time I even had an xp computer.
Netgear R7000, I had them map but had to change the folder name and know I can't remap them in windows xp

when I tried to map it, its asking for a user and password and I get an error
