change the wifi region R6700AX

Hi I just bought this router (R6700AX WIFI6) and I am not able to change the WIFI region. I did some search on the internet and in the forum here.  Looks like 5 years ago some expert recommanded to use a different firmware for the region of desire.  I am not able to find different firmware for specific regions, and yet per the release notes it looks like the firmware are for all regions.

Is there a way to change the region? I know there are some hack by enabling the telnet etc but it has not worked on this model.  And I don't why it is an issue to allow the customer to change the region.
