Clear [email failed] (#AUTH005) Too many bad auth attempts.

thanks for this recommendation, it worked perfectly. For the record here's what i did
1. set up two factor authentication on my GMAIL account; specifically,
2. In my Google account, went to Security settings (select from list on the left)
3. Scroll down to Signing in to Google; select App passwords
4. In Select app pull-down menu, select other and enter a custom name (e.g., Wifi Router)
5. Select device (I just chose Mac)
6. Click generate
7. Copy the App password code
8. In the Admin for Nighthawk R7000P router: Router Admin--> Advanced-->Security-->e-mail
9. Enter send-to email address; outgoing mail server: smtp.gmail.com; outgoing port: 465
10. Select mail server requires authentication
11. enter Google account name; paste the App password copied in step 7; click apply
12. ... and that should set it up

For Gmail make sure your using 2FA and google generated PW:
