CM1000 Modem numbers all over the place? Possible cause?

I currently use a Nighthawk router with a CM1000 modem. Connection stability has been worse lately, but I rebooted all of my equipment on Saturday night (it’s now Monday night), and in 48 hours, the number of uncorrectables is insane, my downstream power levels appear questionable, and one of the upstream levels seems borderline low.

My ISP says it’s not their issue and probably my modem, but from other people’s experience, do the numbers suggest it’s a modem issue rather than something further upstream?

Your power levels are all over the place. They should be within 3.5dbmv of each other.

You're going from -5.4 to 5.5. A 10.9dmbv difference. Plus the errors you have.

Check your coax line for kinks, damage, poor/old/bad/corroded/cheap connectors and remove them.

Preferably, move the modem to right where the coax enters the home to prevent wiring internal to the home being the issue.

I'd also remove any splitters, amplifiers, or attenuators from your line.

there's always the chance it is the modem but I'd start with the line first based off your numbers.
