CM1200 set up
We're with Spectrum, and have the 100 MB plan. We were advised to "go big or go home" so got the highest capabilty combo, since Spectrum is advancing options. Thus, the hefty price tag for the CM120...

Guru, thanks for the reply. The router is part of the MK63 mesh system. (AX1800). Spectrum configured its modem to handle only the phone line, via a splitter. It worked right away.
The issue we have now is: once the router itself is connected to the modem and main PC, do we just sync the satellites and place them where needed? Though both have ethernet ports, we don't know if additional cables need to be run to them.
On the other hand, do we just have the Spectrum tech look for weakness in the wifi, return the Netgear and pick up boosters?

Maybe i'm wrong on this point since I dont' have spectrum.

Make sure they're at least 30ft apart for best roaming. Though both have ethernet ports, we don't know if additional cables need to be run to them. ---You don't need additional wires. Its designed to run over the wireless. If you do happen to hardwire them in, they'll tend to be faster than over wireless.

The MK63 is a base model mesh system. it still works pretty darned good and provides good coverage. If you're a gamer or do a lot of streaming on mulitple devices, then I'd recommend a triband mesh system.
