    They make USB to ethernet adapters that are cheap.

    Connect the laptop to the SSID and PW of the router, then Log into the routers web page using Safari or Firefox browser at 192.168.1.1.

I don't have any wires that would connect my mac to the router.

 

And where would I go in my browser to update the WiFi settings?
